If you can not spend some time to make single page document error free how someone can trust you to do your job efficiently. So double check your resume before you upload/share to any recruitment portal.

Sometimes while drafting it, we think that every small achievement should be mentioned like participation in some hackathon, competition these kind of information. You have to mention these small things in your resume or not it depends on how rich you graduation/post-graduation has been. If you have done so many things in your college like projects, internships. You have achieved some rare achievements like winning any big competition, any awards which are significant enough to mention, Achieved decent rank in any all India competition that should definitely be mentioned.
But if you don’t have so much accolades to mention, then you can write even small achievements or about your participations in various competitions also. But serious advice for you would be to make it rich, filled with so many projects, internships & achievements. Try to have at least following things in your resume:

Way of Representation:
Presentation is very important skill to have. You might have thousands of things to mention but if you don’t know how to present your skill set, then still even with so rich resume you might not get shortlisted. Let’s say you have done 5 projects in your graduation out of these 5, 2 projects are on VLSI. So in case if you are applying for VLSI Jobs better to present first 2 projects of your VLSI followed by other 3. Use highlighter very cautiously to showcase skill set which you used to complete those VLSI projects.
Similarly if you are applying for some other Job role you can do the same for projects related to that job profile. Whatever we discussed just now same can be use for Internships, recommendations & even for mentioning professional skill set as well.
These are some of the points which one should consider while drafting the resume or even while feeding the data in online platforms so that compact, crisp & rich resume can be drafted.
